Mission Statement
Amani & Moto (AM) promotes and advances strategic executive training to student-athletes to help them achieve personal, academic, and professional success as they navigate the stressful and time-consuming athletic life cycle.
Challenges in the Sports Industry
The college athletics landscape is experiencing rapid change due to conference realignment, new scholarship funding models, revamped transfer portals, and NIL endorsements. As a result of these changes, college athletes can now receive NIL income, in addition to scholarships; however, they often lack comprehensive financial literacy knowledge, which can lead them to make uninformed monetary decisions. As a result of this rapid change and the high-income potential, college athletes experience anxiety surrounding their academic, athletic, career pursuits, and financial decision-making.
Our Solution
AM seeks to address these challenges by providing:
- Broad financial literacy education solutions to athletic institutions and teams.
- Customized 1:1 strategic advisory services for college athletes. The strategic advisory services will help college athletes:
- Navigate their academic, athletic, and career pursuits;
- Enhance their financial knowledge and capability, and
- Improve their executive functioning skills (e.g., understanding the importance of character in any work environment and develop communication, leadership, time management and conflict management skills).
AM also provides a branding platform for college athletes to showcase their unique style, personality, and enhance their public image.
